What Philippians 2:3-4 means
Esteem other better than themselves isn't a low opinion of yourself. It's a habit of attention, counting somebody else's concerns as weighing more than yours today. Paul is settling a quarrel between two women in this church, and the next paragraph hands them Christ emptying himself as the pattern.
