What 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 means
Four commands in a row, all of them hard, and then one sentence that governs the lot: let all your things be done with charity. Quit you like men means conduct yourselves as men. Paul puts the backbone and the love in the same breath, because either one alone goes wrong.

15I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
