What Galatians 5:1 means
The yoke Paul warns about isn't a return to open sin. It's rule-keeping, men in Galatia pressing Christians back under a law they had been let out of. Liberty here isn't permission to do as you please. It's freedom from having to earn what Christ already bought.

2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
