What Ephesians 4:32 means
The measure is at the end: even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Paul just spent a paragraph on bitterness and anger, so he isn't talking about small slights. Forgiving here isn't deciding the wrong was minor. It's refusing to hold on to something God already let go of.
