Ephesians 6:10-11 KJV
Ephesians · chapter 6 · verses 10–11
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Ephesians 6:10-11 · King James Version
What Ephesians 6:10-11 means
Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might — the strength is borrowed before any armour goes on. Paul says the whole armour for a reason, since partial armour just leaves a gap. And the enemy named here is the wiles of the devil, which are schemes rather than brute force.

Ephesians 6:10-11 in context
8Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Here is a general exhortation to constancy in our Christian course, and to encourage in our Christian warfare. Is not our life a warfare? It is so; for we struggle with the common calamities of human life. Is not our religion much more a warfare? It is so;
