John 14:2 KJV
John · chapter 14 · verse 2
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.John 14:2 · King James Version
What John 14:2 means
Many is the word doing the work; there is no shortage of room in the Father's house. Mansions in the King James means dwelling places rather than grand buildings. Jesus says it to men who have just been told he is leaving, and the first thing he tells them about where he is going is that there is space.
