John · chapter 4 · verse 24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.John 4:24 · King James Version
What John 4:24 means
Jesus says this to a woman who had just asked which mountain was the right one to worship on. He answers that the place was never the question. Spirit and truth are both required — sincerity without truth is only feeling, and truth without spirit is only information.
