What Matthew 6:26 means
Behold is an instruction to look at something ordinary. The argument runs from the smaller case to the greater: he feeds birds that don't farm, and you are much better than they. Jesus isn't against sowing and reaping — he's against the worry, which he names in the verses on either side.

27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
