Psalm 16:11 KJV
Psalms · chapter 16 · verse 11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.Psalm 16:11 · King James Version
What Psalm 16:11 means
Fulness of joy is located rather than described: in thy presence. The psalm doesn't offer joy as a mood to work up. Peter quoted this psalm at Pentecost and applied it to the resurrection, which is why the path of life reads the way it does.

All these verses are quoted by St. Peter in his first sermon, after the pouring out of the Spirit on the day of pentecost (Act 2:25-28); and he tells us expressly that David in them speaks concerning Christ and particularly of his resurrection.
