What 1 Corinthians 15:57 means
Giveth, not lends or sells — the victory is handed over. Paul writes this at the end of a long chapter on the resurrection, right after asking death where its sting went. And the very next verse turns it into work: therefore be ye stedfast. Thanks first, then labour.
